PULP SF PINUPS Scantily dressed, overdressed and undressed women in illustrations inspired by the great science fiction pulp magazines of the '30s through '60s, an 8 1/2 x 11 sized square bound with 48 black and white interior pages. The "pulps" were untrimmed magazines named for their soft paper flecked with shreds of wood fibre, filled with detective, crime, secret agent and G-man, battle, space travel and adventure stories. The pulps gave birth to some timeless icons (The Shadow, Tarzan, H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos, Conan and Kull, Doc Savage, The Phantom) and inspired generations of artists that followed, including the illustrators here, all works presented in full "splash" pages.
